Dysglycemia touches nearly half of hospitalized patients, driving preventable harm, longer stays, and costly readmissions. Yet it often remains overlooked among competing priorities and comorbidities. This 20-minute panel will unpack why glycemic management is both a personal and systemic safety imperative—and why hospitals need more than manual protocols. A platform approach can orchestrate complex insulin workflows, automate decisions, and continually learn from data. The result: safer patients, empowered clinicians, and measurable ROI through fewer readmissions, reduced length of stay, and stronger quality performance. Join us to discover how transforming this blind spot can unlock lasting clinical and financial gains.

IllumiCare (now part of Premier) defines inpatient medication and diagnostic use that is unlikely to have clinical benefit and attributes the hospital’s actual supply cost to the ordering provider. By specifically defining low value care and making real costs transparent to clinicians, IllumiCare facilitates upstream interventions in formulary and order sets while hyper-targeting “nudges” to providers at point of care. The combination leads to millions in directly attributable savings while also reducing iatrogenic risk.
